Job summary

Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) seeks a Senior Ellucian Technical and Integrations Engineer to lead the integration of Ellucian Colleague SaaS with campus systems and data workflows. You will optimize inter-system data exchange, security, and reliability, partnering closely with end users, technology resources, and vendor teams.

You will design data models, write SQL, and build custom reports to support analytics and institutional stewardship of information.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent.
7+ years of experience in systems integration, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise application support.
Strong understanding of APIs, web services, ETL tools, middleware, and reporting tools.
Experience with Ellucian Colleague SaaS and related higher education systems.
Hands-on experience with Ellucian Experience and Ethos workflow tools.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases; data governance and security best practices.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain integrations between Ellucian Colleague SaaS and campus systems.
Use Ellucian Ethos and SaaS Extensibility tools to customize workflows without disrupting upgrades.
Manage data exchange processes and ensure data integrity across enterprise platforms.
Develop data models, run SQL queries, and create reports/dashboards for analytics.
Collaborate with vendors, end users, and IT teams to ensure interoperability and troubleshoot issues.
Support middleware, APIs, and automation tools to streamline business processes.
Monitor performance, availability, and security of integrated services; maintain documentation.
