Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
• Experience developing software applications, websites, or system integrations.
• Experience with APIs, JSON, XML, or related technologies.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain custom applications and web-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain integrations between institutional systems using APIs and automation tools.
• Create and maintain solutions for enterprise platforms like Ellucian Experience, Ethos Integration, Salesforce.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to identify technology solutions for business processes.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical specifications.
• Document applications, integrations, workflows, and processes.
• Troubleshoot issues across applications, integrations, and data.
• Support training related to university-developed applications and integrations.
