Coderio is seeking a Senior Elixir Developer to design, build, and maintain distributed, fault-tolerant backend systems with low latency and high concurrency. You will mentor teammates and drive architectural decisions across global stakeholders.

This remote-first role requires 5+ years in backend engineering, strong Elixir, Phoenix, Ecto, and OTP experience, plus PostgreSQL. You’ll collaborate with product, DevOps, and frontend teams to deliver scalable services.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• At least 3 years hands-on Elixir experience.
• Strong knowledge of Phoenix, Ecto, and OTP.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Experience designing REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and message queues.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and scale highly concurrent backends with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Architect distributed systems using BEAM, OTP, and supervision trees.
• Design and integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Optimize queries and data models with PostgreSQL and Ecto.
• Ensure code quality with tests and reviews.
• Collaborate with PMs, DevOps, and frontend teams in Agile.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and engineering best practices.
