Job summary

Chenega Security SBU in Huntsville, AL seeks an Electronics Technician III with expertise in installation, repair and maintenance of electronic security systems. Certification in MDI Required.

The role requires reading blueprints, using test equipment, and servicing CCTV, access control, intrusion and PA systems. Candidates should have 6+ years in electronics or an AA/AS or BS/BA in Electronics and pass background screening.

Qualifications

• Six+ years of non-residential electronics installation and troubleshooting.
• AA/AS in Electronics or BS/BA in Electronics are preferred.
• Must pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret building plans (blueprints).
• Use, repair, and calibrate test equipment (meters, oscilloscopes).
• Maintain low voltage DC electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Bench repair of electronics to component level.
• Manage AC power distribution, motors, relays and controls.
• Oversee CCTV, access control, and alarm systems maintenance.
• Operate metal detectors, radio/PA systems; support intrusion and detection systems.
• Travel as needed.
