Job summary

Chenega Professional Services Strategic Business Unit seeks an Electronics Technician III in Huntsville, AL to install, repair and maintain electronic security systems. Certification in MDI is required.

You will read plans, use test equipment, and perform bench repairs to component level across CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and PA systems. The candidate should have 6+ years of non-residential electronics experience or an AA/AS in Electronics, and pass a background/drug screening.

Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting building plans (blueprints).
• Use, repair, and calibration of electronic test equipment.
• Experience with low voltage DC electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Background check and drug screening required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret building plans (blueprints).
• Use, repair, and calibration of electronic test equipment such as meters and oscilloscopes.
• Work with low voltage DC electronic/electromechanical systems.
• Bench repair of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical equipment to component level.
• Maintain AC power distribution systems, motor-generators, relays, and controls.
• Support CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and PA systems operations.
