Job summary

Chenega Corporation seeks an Electronics Technician III to install, repair and maintain electronic security systems with certification in MDI required. The role includes reading plans, testing equipment, and servicing CCTV, access control and intrusion-detection systems.

You will work with low voltage DC systems, HVAC-associated components, and electronic locks, with duties extending to PA and alarm systems. Background and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• Six years' experience in non-residential electronics installation & troubleshooting (or equivalent AA/AS with certification)
• Experience with CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and fire alarm systems preferred
• Ability to read building plans and interpret blueprints

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret building plans (blueprints)
• Use, repair, and calibrate electronic test equipment (meters, oscilloscopes)
• Maintain low voltage DC electronic and electromechanical systems
• Bench repair to component level for electronic/electrical equipment
• Support AC power distribution systems and motor-generators
• Work with motors, relays, and circuit controls
• Assist with HVAC and mechanical/electromechanical locking systems
• Manage CCTV, access control, alarm and PA systems
• Support radio and telecom systems; contribute to security posture
