Chenega MIOS is seeking an Electronic Technician III in Albuquerque, NM. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and electronic devices across infrared, CCTV, RF/microwave, and optical systems, following established procedures.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on electronic equipment experience, a relevant degree or certificate, and the ability to travel and climb structures. Strong communication and safety compliance are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Electronics Technology certificate.
• High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of experience.
• 3+ years troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of electronic equipment.
• 2+ years RF, Radar, and Microwave receiver/transmitter repair at module level using test equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Pass CBP Background Investigation.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot and repair a range of infrared systems, underground proximity sensors, night vision goggles, CCTV, and RF/microwave systems.
• Diagnose digital and analog devices such as pan/tilt units and lenses.
• Perform soldering as needed and suggest process improvements.
• Determine tests and modify testing equipment as required.
• Communicate findings in written reports and with teammates.
• Adhere to Safety and Security procedures and read/write technical documentation.
• Willing to work early/late shifts, weekends, and on-site field service; climb towers up to 120 feet.
