Job summary

Chenega Corporation in Chantilly, VA is seeking an Electronics Technician III responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of electronic security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection and PA systems. Candidates should have six years of experience in non-residential electronics or an AA/AS in Electronics, and be able to read blueprints and operate test equipment.

Certification in MDI required and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and plans for installations.
• Experience with installation and troubleshooting of electronic security systems.
• Knowledge of CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and fire alarm systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and building plans.
• Use, repair, and calibrate test equipment (meters, oscilloscopes).
• Work with low voltage DC electronic and electromechanical systems.
• Bench repair of electronic, electrical, and electromechanical gear to component level.
• Support AC power distribution, motor-generators, relays and controls.
• Maintain CCTV, access control devices, and video/security systems.
