Job summary
M.C. Dean is hiring an Electronics Technician 3 for the Security and Electronic Systems unit.
The role covers design, installation, integration, operation and maintenance of electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial customers, including intrusion, access control, biometrics, and video systems. The candidate will perform on-site installations, testing and commissioning, require strong problem-solving, communication skills and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams,
Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED or Military Electronics Training (720 classroom hours) or
- Graduation from Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program
- Additional three (3) years electronics installation/maintenance experience
- Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph eligibility required
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems.
- Conduct site surveys, configure hardware/software, test systems for proper operation.
- Provide technical support to customers and communicate with clients and team members.
- Lead by example, mentor crew, and ensure safety and quality.
- Maintain documentation, track tools, material orders, and timesheets.
- Coordinate with project teams and owners during commissioning and testing.
