Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 within the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to design, engineer, integrate, operate and maintain electronic security services for federal, local, and commercial clients.

The role covers intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, IT systems, and related security infrastructure. Responsibilities include on-site installations, troubleshooting, and documenting activities while coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems
• Configure hardware and software; test systems for proper operation
• Provide technical support to customers and communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Lead commissioning activities and ensure high-quality testing and installation
• Maintain safety compliance and participate in safety meetings
