Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) team. The role involves on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support across federal, local and commercial customers.

You will work with intrusion detection, access control, video surveillance, IT systems, and other security technologies, traveling up to 50% and maintaining high safety and quality standards while collaborating with project teams.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; electronics training preferred.
• Graduation from an electronics technician program or an electrical apprenticeship.
• 3 additional years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.
• 6+ years of electronics installation/maintenance on multiple systems with multiple programs.
• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
• Configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide customer support.
• Lead commissioning efforts and document findings.
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in safety planning.
• Collaborate with project teams and customers to resolve issues.
