Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. You will be part of a team that designs, engineers, integrates, operates and maintains electronic security services for federal, local and commercial customers.

On-site responsibilities include installation, maintenance, and testing of intruder detection, access control, CCTV and IT systems. The role requires a strong background in electronics installation and maintenance, along with excellent

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an Electronics Technician program or an Electrical Apprenticeship program is required.
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities is required.
• Strong communication, time management, and presentation skills are essential.
• MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software and test systems for proper operation.
• Provide technical support to customers and communicate with teams.
• Lead by example, mentor crew members, and ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Document detailed activities, track tools, material ordering, and project metrics.
