Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit.

The role focuses on on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of federal, local, and commercial security systems including intrusion detection, access control, biometrics, video surveillance, and IT networks. Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, completion of an Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship, and 6+ years of hands-on electronics

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Graduation from an Electronics Technician program or an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• An additional three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• On-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Perform site surveys, configure hardware and software, and test systems.
• Provide technical support to customers and communicate with project teams.
• Lead by example, mentor crew members, and ensure safety and quality standards.
