Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 in the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit to join a field operations team.

You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electronic security systems including intrusion, access control, CCTV, and IT components for federal, local, and commercial clients. Ideal candidates will have 6+ years in electronics install/maintenance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work with

Qualifications

• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems.
• Strong oral, written and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems for proper operation.
• Provide technical support to customers and communicate with clients and team members.
• Lead commissioning activities and document results, ensuring safety compliance.
• Coordinate with project teams and other trades to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
