Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit. The role involves on-site installations, maintenance, and testing of electronic security solutions for federal, local, and commercial customers.

You will work with intrusion, access control, video, and IT systems across high-growth markets. Required are a HS diploma or GED, electronics training or an apprenticeship, and 6+ years of electronics installation/maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Military Electronics Training (minimum 720 classroom hours) is preferred.
• Graduation from an Electronics Technician program or an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
• An additional three years of electronics installation/maintenance experience is required.
• Strong written and oral communication and time management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support to customers.
• Lead and mentor crew members; communicate with project teams and owners.
• Ensure safety plans and policies are followed; participate in quality reviews.
• Maintain documentation, track tools, and manage material ordering and receiving.
