Job summary

M.C. Dean in the Security and Electronic Systems (SES) unit is seeking an Electronics Technician 3 to join a team delivering electronic security services including intrusion detection, access control, biometric authentication, video surveillance, and IT systems for federal, local and commercial clients.

You will perform on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting and testing of electronic security equipment, configure hardware and software, and document activities while adhering to

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED is required
• Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or Electrical Apprenticeship program
• 6+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
• Strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills
• Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred

Responsibilities

• Executes on-site installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of equipment and systems.
• Configures hardware and software, tests systems for proper operation, and provides technical support to customers.
• Leads commissioning efforts and communicates with owners and design teams.
• Ensures compliance with QC plans and safety requirements.
• Mentors crew members and supports resource planning and safety.
