Job summary

Power Solutions International in Michigan is hiring an Engineering Technician III – Electronics to support electrical component integration for engines, prototypes, and finished products. You will manage ECO-driven changes, optimize build times, and create assembly instructions to improve efficiency on the production floor.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in automotive technology or equivalent, or 8 years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience implementing lean manufacturing methods in ISO environments.
• Ability to create manufacturing work instructions using Microsoft tools.
• 8+ years leading projects across multiple teams in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical components including wire harnesses, control panels, electrical interfaces using engineering parts and prototypes.
• Design tools and assembly fixtures for prototype or production.
• Troubleshoot electrical/electromechanical faults.
• Develop assembly processes and SOPs aligned with plant methods.
• Maintain BOM accuracy and support ECO changes.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality and operations to support lean initiatives.
