Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks an Electronic Tech III Lead to support MUOS operations at the Wahiawa gateway facility, Hawaii, under a U.S. DoD contract. You will direct maintenance on satellite terminals and associated equipment, working 24/7 on-call to ensure mission readiness.

The role requires IAT Level II (or a 4-year degree), Navy 3M training, and security clearances, with duties spanning fault isolation, testing, and system upgrades in a high-security environment.

Qualifications

• Requires IAT Level II certification or a 4-year degree.
• Must complete Navy 3M Systems training.
• Minimum 3 years in Maintenance Manager functions.
• Knowledge of electricity and radio theory and related equipment.
• Experience using Fed Log to verify part numbers and NSNs.
• Must meet DoD 8570.1-M baseline security requirements and OS/CE.
• Obtain EKMS 301 within 30 days and 3M 301 within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Operations Manager & Maintenance Manager.
• Operate and maintain satellite communications earth terminals 24/7.
• Operate electronic test and cryptographic equipment.
• Perform circuit troubleshooting, testing and fault isolation.
• Monitor outages, alerts and system status.
• Coordinate HW/SW upgrades and configure data collection parameters.
• Maintain modems, multiplexers, up/down converters and related gear.
• Test, patch, configure, and reconfigure multiplexers and modems as required.
• Perform maintenance tasks under the Navy 3M program.
• Create and track tickets, parts requests and technical assistance.
• Ensure personnel and equipment safety.
