Job summary

V2X is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee 24x7 SATCOM operations and maintenance of satellite ground terminals and associated systems. The role requires active Secret clearance, CSWF certification, and prior Navy 3M training.

A technical/4-year STEM degree or higher is preferred, with supervisory experience in MILSATCOM environments. The candidate will activate services, manage encryption and reporting, and lead emergency response on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• CSWF certification is required.
• IAT Level II certification or a 4‑year science/math degree is required; technical/associate10s degree will be considered.
• Formal U.S. Navy 3M maintenance training is required.
• Minimum of three years of supervisory experience in Maintenance Manager functions.

Responsibilities

• Augment 24x7x365 operation and maintenance of the facility including SATCOM terminals and baseband equipment.
• Operate telecommunications and RF equipment, ensuring TDMA/FDMA knowledge applies to operations.
• Activate telecommunications services per orders and maintain security and reporting standards.
• Monitor SATCOM earth terminals, modems, and baseband gear; troubleshoot faults and report to supervisors.
• Operate encryption devices and manage key loading and verification for secure links.
• Use test equipment (spectrum analyzers, test sets) for fault isolation and reporting.
• Receive trouble calls, perform troubleshooting, and escalate as needed.
• Operate information systems for SATCOM control, monitoring, and configuration.
• Produce written reports including After-Action, outage, and daily status reports.
