Job summary

V2X Inc. seeks a Satellite Communications Technician to support 24/7 SATCOM operations in Hawaii. You will operate baseband equipment, encryption devices, and perform fault isolation, reporting on outages and system status.

The role requires active US security clearance, CSWF, and 3+ years of related experience. On-site duties include emergency callouts and 24-hour shift coverage. Education options include CSWF, IAT II, or a 4-year degree; 3M training is also preferred.

Qualifications

• CSWF certification is required.
• IAT Level II certification or a 4-year degree is required.
• 3M Systems training completed.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Augment 24x7x365 operation and maintenance of the SATCOM facility and equipment.
• Operate baseband multiplexing, switching and routing equipment, and COTS systems.
• Activate and manage telecommunications services per orders and authorizations; apply RF theory practical knowledge.
• Operate SATCOM earth terminals, modems and baseband equipment; monitor performance.
• Handle encryption devices, key loading, and verification of secure communications.
