Job summary

V2X Inc seeks an Electronic Tech III Lead to support the MUOS system at Wahiawa, Hawaii, on a DoD contract. You will operate and maintain satellite terminals and related equipment, reporting to the Operations and Maintenance Manager. The role requires hands‑on maintenance, testing, and 24/7 on‑call readiness.

Candidates should have IAT Level II, a 4‑year science/math degree, and Navy 3M training. DoD clearance and OS/CE familiarity are essential for success.

Qualifications

• IAT Level II certification or a 4‑year science/math degree.
• Navy 3M Systems training completed.
• At least 3 years of Maintenance Manager experience.
• Knowledge of electricity, RF theory, transistors, and digital timing for network operations.
• DoD 8570.1-M OS/CE certification awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain satellite terminals and equipment at Wahiawa gateway.
• Report to the Operations Manager & Maintenance Manager.
• Troubleshoot faults, perform testing, and document results.
• Monitor system status, respond to alerts, and log outages.
• Coordinate hardware/software upgrades and data collection parameters.
• Ensure safety of personnel and equipment.
• Support 24/7 on‑call rotations as required.
