Job summary

V2X in Wahiawa, HI seeks an experienced SATCOM Maintenance Manager to augment 24/7/365 operations. You will oversee baseband, encryption devices, RF systems, and testing equipment, ensuring reliable MILSATCOM/Commercial communications.

The role requires active Secret Clearance, US citizenship, and at least 3 years supervisory experience, plus IAT Level II certification or a related degree. You’ll work on urgent callouts and write detailed reports.

Qualifications

• CSWF certification required.
• IAT Level II certification or related 4-year degree.
• Technical/Associate’s degree will be considered.
• Completion of 3M Systems training required.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of electricity and radio theory relevant to SATCOM.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to read/write English.
• Active Secret Security Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Augment 24x7x365 operation and maintenance of SATCOM facility and equipment.
• Operate baseband, switching, routing, and fielded COTS equipment.
• Activate services per orders and demonstrate RF theory knowledge.
• Operate and monitor SATCOM terminals and encryption devices.
• Use testing equipment and report faults to supervisors.
• Handle trouble calls, troubleshoot, and escalate as needed.
• Maintain information systems for control and configuration of equipment.
• Prepare written reports including after-action and outage reports.
