Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Senior Advanced Project Engineer - Electronics Supplier Development to drive supplier quality and reliability across the Electronics Value Stream. This role develops strategic supplier partnerships, manages performance, and leads continuous improvement to boost product quality and supply chain efficiency.

You will report to the Director of Supplier Development and work remotely in the US, with a preference for candidates in the Northeast.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (STEM).
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing/engineering/supplier development focused on PCB or electronic components.
• Proficiency in RCCA and APQP/PPAP.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Capability Assessment: Evaluate supplier capabilities for transition from development to production.
• Quality Improvement Plans: Implement risk assessments and targeted quality improvements for electronics.
• Performance Management: Drive supplier performance with clear metrics and expectations.
• Operational Excellence: Lead OPEX projects to improve product flow, lead time, and yield.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure suppliers meet quality systems and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborative Engagement: Work with cross-functional teams to resolve supplier issues and improve supply chain performance.
• Travel local & domestically 25% normally, and up to 50% (rare occasions).
