Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Supplier Engineer to drive strategic supply network development and cost management for electronics across lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing.

Responsibilities include managing BOMs, mitigating lead-time risks for PCBA components, ensuring scalable sourcing strategies, and expanding the approved supplier list.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics.
• Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering at the component & product level.
• Ability to travel a 10-25% of the time for vendor on-site visits.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate component sourcing paths across product lines
• Identify & mitigate supply-chain lead-time/sourcing risks, especially for PCBA components
• Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as multiple product lines scale to full production
• Conduct supplier selection across product lines and managing/expanding our approved supplier list
• Work closely with suppliers to handle and resolve basic technical inquiries, consult with the design engineering team as needed
• Collaborate with the quality team to ensure AS9100 compliance for any and all production electronics builds
• Work with the manufacturing team to ensure proper release and transmission of technical data packages within PLM and ERP systems
• Coordinate with Anduril HQ's PCBA commodity team & resources to streamline Anduril Imaging's PCBA procurement processes
