Job summary

Anduril Imaging, a division of Anduril Industries, seeks a Senior Commodity Engineer to lead electronics sourcing and lifecycle cost management. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to optimize supplier performance and ensure scalable PCBA procurement.

Your role focuses on managing BOMs, mitigating lead-time risks, and expanding the approved supplier list to support multiple product lines through full production, while coordinating with HQ on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics.
• Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering at the component & product level.
• Ability to travel 10-25% for vendor on-site visits.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate sourcing paths across product lines.
• Identify and mitigate supply-chain lead-time/sourcing risks, especially for PCBA components.
• Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as multiple product lines scale to production.
• Conduct supplier selection across product lines and manage your supplier list.
• Work with suppliers to handle technical inquiries and consult with design engineering as needed.
• Collaborate with quality to ensure AS9100 compliance for production electronics builds.
• Coordinate with PLM and ERP for data package release and transmission.
• Coordinate with HQ PCBA commodity team to streamline procurement processes.
