Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Commodity Engineer for its Imaging team to drive strategic supply network development and cost management of electronics across lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers, engineering, quality, and manufacturing to optimize sourcing, risk management, and supplier relationships.

You will lead BOM management, supplier selection, and cross-functional coordination to scale electronics sourcing as product lines grow, ensuring compliance and efficient data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or other technical field.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics.
• Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering at the component & product level.
• Ability to travel 10-25% for vendor on-site visits.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate sourcing paths across product lines.
• Identify and mitigate supply-chain lead-time and sourcing risks for PCBA components.
• Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as multiple product lines scale to full production.
• Conduct supplier selection across product lines and expand approved supplier list.
• Work with suppliers on technical inquiries and consult with design engineering as needed.
• Coordinate with quality to ensure AS9100 compliance for production electronics builds.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure proper release and transmission of technical data in PLM/ERP.
• Coordinate with HQ PCBA commodity team to streamline procurement processes.
