Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field is required.
• 8+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or electronics design.
• Domain expertise in value and procurement engineering at component and product levels; ability to travel 10–25% and obtain/maintain a U.S. secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical BOMs, component risk assessments, and alternate sourcing paths across product lines.
• Identify and mitigate supply-chain lead-time/sourcing risks, especially for PCBA components.
• Ensure scalability of electronics sourcing strategy as multiple product lines scale to production.
• Conduct supplier selection across product lines and manage our approved supplier list.
• Collaborate with suppliers to handle basic technical inquiries and consult with design engineering as needed.
• Work with the quality team to ensure AS9100 compliance for all production electronics builds.
• Coordinate with PLM and ERP systems for proper release of technical data packages.
• Coordinate with HQ's PCBA commodity team to streamline PCBA procurement processes.
