Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Procurement Engineer, Supply Chain to lead strategic supply network development and cost management across product lifecycles. You will collaborate with suppliers and teams in engineering, quality, and manufacturing to optimize BOMs and drive NPI cost outcomes.

The role emphasizes supplier selection, early engagement, and cost engineering to reduce TCO while ensuring qualification and readiness for production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field.
• 5+ years in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement, and development.
• Experience with electronics and/or mechanical design.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and relocate onsite in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Conduct supplier selection leveraging the approved supplier list.
• Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development from scoping to testable specs.
• Develop and consolidate a manufacturing BOM with Quality & Manufacturing.
• Manage CAPEX throughout NPI and drive cost-down through value engineering.
• Perform value-stream mapping to optimize lead times and flexibility.
• Complete BOM risk assessments including alternate sourcing.
• Ensure component qualifications are completed ahead of production.
• Reduce complexity via commonality optimization and supplier rationalization.
• Lead cost engineering to converge to product cost and total cost of ownership.
