Job summary

Accord Technologies Inc. is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead schematic capture and PCB design for complex analog, digital, and mixed-signal hardware.

The role requires close collaboration with mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure robust, compliant product designs across the full lifecycle. You will perform circuit design, layout, verification, and documentation, with emphasis on signal integrity, manufacturability, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in electronic hardware design and development.
• Strong experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro/OrCAD, Mentor Graphics.
• Experience with multi-layer PCB design and signal integrity considerations.
• Knowledge of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design.
• Strong understanding of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Experience using laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, DMMs, power supplies.
• Ability to produce and review technical documentation and engineering reports.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electronic circuit design and schematic capture for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronic circuits.
• Develop PCB layouts ensuring compliance with electrical, thermal, EMC/EMI, manufacturability, and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and test engineering teams to achieve robust product designs.
• Perform component selection, derating analysis, and obsolescence reviews.
• Support design reviews and implement engineering changes based on review feedback.
• Develop and execute hardware verification and validation activities.
• Create and maintain design documents including: design documents, product drawings, engineering change documentation, test procedures, qualification test plans, qualification test reports, test summary reports, manufacturing support documentation.
• Support prototype builds, debugging, board bring-up, and root cause analysis of hardware issues.
• Work closely with suppliers, fabrication houses, and contract manufacturers to ensure successful product realization.
• Participate in requirements analysis, risk assessments, and design verification activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry and customer standards.
