Job summary

The Repair Technician at Matthews Marking Solutions LLC will repair, test, troubleshoot, and inspect electronic and electro-mechanical equipment in line with company policies. The role requires hands-on experience with controllers, power supplies, ink systems and diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of previous equipment repair experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to travel locally, nationally, and/or internationally.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
• Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, and planning skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication; basic math concepts.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Mechanical aptitude with hand tools, power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch.

Responsibilities

• Repairs equipment including controllers, power supplies, print heads and ink systems.
• Inspects and tests products to maintain high quality.
• Adjusts and tunes products for optimum service and reliability.
• Suggests improvements to products, procedures, or testing methods.
• Operates diagnostic equipment including oscilloscopes and other tools.
• Maintains inventory and keeps reports and filing up to date.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and adheres to safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
