Job summary

EMSAR is seeking an Equipment Repair Technician I to test and repair electro‑mechanical products. You will use electronics and mechanical knowledge to diagnose malfunctions and restore equipment to operation in a light manufacturing setting.

The role requires a High School diploma (Vocational prefered) and 0–2 years of experience with electronics. Training will be provided and safety is a priority in day shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Vocational diploma in electro‑mechanical repair preferred.
• 0–2 years experience with electronics and diagnostic instruments.
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and use proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair returned-for-repair units per specifications.
• Determine malfunctions using electronics and mechanical knowledge.
• Follow OSHA and company safety requirements.
• Consult supervisor on atypical repair items.
• Complete assigned training within the specified period.
