Job summary

RTX in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Principal Electronic Warfare Lead System Engineer to integrate hardware and software, develop test plans, and verify system requirements for DoD programs. This onsite role requires MBSE, Agile product development, and strong RF/signal processing expertise.

You will lead the EW lifecycle from development to deployment, mentor IPTLs, collaborate across cross‑functional teams, and travel up to 20%. U.S.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 8+ years of systems engineering experience including RF principles and radar basics.
EW experience including waveforms, threat systems, DRFM, ESM/EA capabilities.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
Experience troubleshooting electronics with common test equipment.

Responsibilities

Lead the integration and test team through all product lifecycle phases and verification activities.
Support development, integration and testing of advanced EW systems (ESM/EA).
Analyze RF waveforms, threat emitter behavior, radar processing and threat system architectures.
Provide technical guidance to Engineering IPTLs.
Develop signal processing algorithms and MBSE/DTx guided approaches.
Develop and execute test plans, including simulations and lab tests.
Evaluate performance of developmental RF systems and firmware control algorithms.
Prepare and present results to stakeholders.
Travel up to 20% as needed.
