RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer focused on Electronic Warfare to develop and test firmware for ES/EA, while guiding requirements and traceability. The role demands active DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.

You will lead EW performance testing, serve as the primary firmware contact for EA, and collaborate with customers to define product requirements and documentation like specs and ICs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of Electronic Warfare, Radar systems design and Requirements engineering experience.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date.

Responsabilités

• Support firmware development and integration for Electronic Systems (ES) and Electronic Assemblies (EA) performance.
• Lead government Electronic Warfare performance testing.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all firmware development and debugging activities for Electronic Assemblies (EA).
• Determine what the requirements should be for a product or system based on information from the customer and provide traceability for these requirements.
• Capture requirements in specific documents such as specifications and interface control documents.
