Job summary

i2G Systems in Plymouth, MI is seeking a Site Lead/Sr Tech to manage the installation and integration of security solutions for new and existing clients. You will coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and on-time commissioning.

The role emphasizes hands-on installation, training, documentation, and the ability to escalate to the project manager as needed. Experience with access control and electronic security systems is required.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of general access control systems. Lenel and Genetec knowledge is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of electronic security systems and onsite labor for installation.
• MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Creative and resourceful in uncommon applications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Proficient verbal and written communications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer focus and commitment to client satisfaction.
• 5–7 years of physical/electronic security experience

Responsibilities

• Follow and track project scheduling.
• Direct subcontractor and internal resource communications.
• Manage and coordinate multiple technicians and subcontractors.
• Read and understand specifications and maintain documentation.
• Perform installation and training on control systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain security systems for customers.
• Coordinate project activities with internal and external parties.
• Document changes and implement them accordingly.
• Complete final Test and Acceptance of security systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
