Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Sr. Electromechanical Assembly & Test Technician to lead end-to-end build and test of complex electromechanical assemblies in a development manufacturing facility.

You will work on precision mechanical assembly, industrial electrical build, high-current terminations, and electrical acceptance testing. The role requires hands-on expertise, problem solving, and training teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Read engineering drawings and schematics; work from documented procedures.
• Hands-on experience assembling complex electromechanical, electrical, or mechanical assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Electrical build and test per procedures and wiring diagrams.
• Fabricating and installing power and control wiring with proper techniques.
• Terminating high-current conductors and fabricating bus bars per spec.
• Applying insulation systems and conducting acceptance tests.
• Building and wiring control panels and routing cables with proper strain relief.
• Setting up electrical and electronics tests and recording results.
