Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Technician for our Huntsville, AL manufacturing facility. This hands-on role leads assembly, material prep, kitting, and shop-floor operations while mentoring junior technicians in a fast-paced early-phase environment.

You will work across mechanical, electrical, and welding tasks, ensuring quality, safety, and traceability. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 8+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience in related fields.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions, drawings, and wiring diagrams with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical assembly, sub-assembly builds, and hardware prep on the shop floor.
• Perform electrical and wiring tasks per diagrams and schematics.
• Oversee material prep, kitting, staging, and traceability of parts.
