Job summary

Blue Origin is hiring a senior technician to join the Blue Origin Operations team. You will build, integrate, and test complex electromechanical assemblies in a development manufacturing facility, handling high-current terminations and panel builds. The role requires working from engineering drawings and procedures with limited direction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and hands-on experience building electromechanical assemblies.
• Able to read engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and procedures.
• Proficient with hand and power tools and precise measurement devices.
• Experience assembling to specification, including torque procedures.
• Capable of troubleshooting at assembly and test levels and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Electrical build and test per wiring diagrams, including crimping, soldering, and labeling.
• Mechanical assembly and integration of sub-assemblies into higher units.
• Follow work instructions, record data, and escalate issues as needed.
• Train and guide less-experienced technicians and work safely around energized equipment.
