Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, NM seeks an Electromechanical Technologist to support the Mechanical Shock, Drop Tower/Water Impact, and related testing facilities. You will work on assemblies, electrical sub-systems, and test documentation in a high-stakes environment serving national security needs.

The role requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, travel to off-site tests, and on-site work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus 3+ years related experience, or equivalent
• Experience with electrical or mechanical systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance

Responsibilities

• Support test activities for facilities
• Build mechanical test assemblies
• Support electrical sub-assemblies for testing
• Coordinate prototype design and builds
• Travel to off-site testing as needed
