Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico is seeking an Electromechanical Technologist to join our Equipment Lifecycle Management Projects team. You will perform duties supporting equipment lifecycle management, instrumentation, process mechanics, PLC applications, testing and troubleshooting of systems, including building systems.

You will collect and analyze data and manage a high volume of requests from owners and residents. This role requires onsite work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 5+ years of related experience.
• Journeyman electrical background or electrical apprenticeship.
• Experience with PLC ladder logic.
• Experience in facilities management and/or construction management.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in support of equipment lifecycle management and related infrastructure.
• Support instrumentation, process mechanics, PLC applications, testing and troubleshooting of systems, including building systems.
• Collect and analyze data.
• Manage a high volume of variable requests from equipment owners, lab owners, and building residents.
