Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks a cleared Senior/Principal Electromechanical Technologist focused on Connectors & Lightning Arrestor Connectors (LACs). You will help test, qualify, and document electrical/mechanical performance, develop test plans, analyze results, and coordinate with engineers and vendors.

Travel to KCNSC and other facilities may be required, with a strict onsite work obligation. The role requires a DOE Q clearance to start, an associate degree or higher in electronics or

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Electronics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience defining and performing tests for electro‑mechanical parts.
• Active DOE Q clearance or equivalent to start.

Responsibilities

• Establish test methods for electrical and mechanical setups and troubleshoot problems.
• Develop, document, and execute test plans and analyze data.
• Communicate project status with engineers, customers, and management.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
