SRC, Inc. is seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to lead design, analysis, and development of advanced electromechanical systems. Drive mechanical architecture, lead complex product design efforts, and validate performance through analysis and testing.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize designs for rugged environments, drive DFMA, and support transitioning from prototyping to manufacturing across major programs.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with 4+ years of mechanical design experience.
• Proven CM and design control across the full product lifecycle.
• Strong background in electromechanical design, specs, test procedure development, and tight-tolerance requirements.
• Proficiency in structural FEA and thermal CFD analyses to validate and optimize designs.
• Experience with SolidWorks (3-D modeling and 2-D drawings).
• Familiarity with ASME Y14 and GD&T standards.
• Designing mechanical hardware to withstand harsh environmental conditions (shock, vibration, thermal cycling).

Responsabilidades

• Lead the creation of complex mechanical drawings, parts, and assemblies.
• Analyze mechanical designs to meet system requirements and environmental specs.
• Apply CM best practices, engineering change workflows, and documentation control throughout the product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with electrical, systems, and manufacturing engineers to optimize electromechanical designs for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Support material selection, tolerance analysis, and DFMA for ruggedized and high-precision systems.
• Direct efforts to develop and test mechanical designs for prototyping and manufacturing.
