SRC, Inc. is currently seeking a Staff Mechanical Engineer to join a forward-looking program based in Albuquerque, NM. The selected candidate will contribute to vulnerability assessment and integration of end-to-end WMD/HDBT capabilities, working with government, military and contractor teams.

The role requires a BS in mechanical engineering, 8+ years of experience, and an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. You will perform blast analysis, design reviews, and 3D facility characterization while

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or related field.
8+ years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
Active Top Secret / SCI clearance or eligible for SCI.
Experience with blast effect modeling and simulation for analysis of alternatives.
Familiarity with military specifications for technical design.

Responsibilities

Structural analysis, blast door response, and facility systems analysis (mechanical).
3D facility characterization.
Test design, data analysis, and material damage modeling.
Analyze functions against requirements and propose action plans.
Contribute to R&D and integration of sensor technologies from concept to prototype.
