Job summary

OSI Systems, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead advanced mechanical and electro-mechanical design efforts. You will act as a technical expert for designated products, guiding cross-functional teams and communicating progress, while escalating blockers.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, modeling, simulation, and process improvements. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in mechanical design/analysis, proficiency with Autodesk Inventor, GD&T, FEA/CFD, and strong technical writing

Qualifications

BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
8+ years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.
Autodesk Inventor preferred; GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
Proficient in simulation & analysis (FEA/CFD) and technical writing.

Responsibilities

Evaluate mechanical and electromechanical systems by designing research programs and applying mechanics principles.
Confirm system capabilities by designing feasibility methods and testing properties.
Develop products by studying customer requirements, testing methods, and manufacturing processes.
Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure requirements are met throughout a project.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineers and technicians.
