Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in Exeter, NH, is seeking a Sr. Sustaining Engineer for Electromechanical Systems. You will maintain and improve existing products, troubleshoot production issues, and implement design enhancements to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will lead root cause analyses, mentor junior engineers, coordinate with R&D, QA, and Operations, and document changes using CAD tools and PLM systems to support NPI and production lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering with 7-10 years of experience.
• In-depth GD&T knowledge (ASME Y14.5M-2009).
• SolidWorks expert; experience with PLM data management and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex production issues and identify root causes.
• Lead design improvements, manufacturing reviews, and DFM transitions.
• Coordinate changes with R&D, QA, and Operations teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and document engineering changes using CAD/PLM.
