Job summary

SIG SAUER Careers in Exeter, NH seeks an Electro-Mechanical Assembler & Welder to support Engineers and the production team by performing high-quality TIG welds, interpreting drawings, and ensuring assemblies meet safety and performance standards. You will create work instructions, adjust tooling, diagnose issues, and optimize assembly lines for new processes while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; related experience or training.
• 2-5 years of assembly experience, electromechanical preferred.
• 2-5 years TIG welding experience required.
• Experience with electromechanical systems incl. wiring and PCBAs.
• Hands-on with debugging tools (multimeter, oscilloscope).
• Ability to learn CAD/CPG tools (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, Excel).
• Attention to detail and ability to read/edit blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electro-mechanical components per drawings and work instructions.
• TIG weld in a precision environment.
• Follow safety regulations and wear PPE.
• Conduct time, process, and capacity studies on production lines.
• Perform electrical wiring, cable routing, soldering, and connector assembly.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues with diagnostic tools.
• Conduct functional testing, calibration, and verification of assemblies.
• Identify defects, document findings, and perform repairs or rework.
• Read/measures blueprints and BOMs for manufacturability.
• Support prototype builds and engineering development projects.
• Maintain production/inspection/test records and participate in 5S.
