Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electromechanical Engineer - Level 5 in Aurora, CO. You will support the design, development, integration, test, modification, fabrication, assembly, deployment, and sustainment of advanced electromechanical systems in complex mission environments.

The role demands independent problem solving and leadership across cross-functional teams. The position requires a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical or Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience applying electrical, electronic and mechanical principles to hardware and systems.
• Experience with prototype development, fabrication, assembly, integration and test.
• Experience troubleshooting complex systems and root-cause analysis.
• Experience working across cross-functional teams and with customers.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to design, integrate, analyze, fabricate, assemble and test electromechanical components and systems.
• Lead or support system integration, developmental testing and troubleshooting.
• Generate and maintain engineering documentation, procedures and results.
• Support deployment, fielding and sustainment of systems in various environments.
• Collaborate with programs across engineering disciplines and with leadership.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship across multidisciplinary teams.
• Interface with customers and internal stakeholders on requirements and status.
• Contribute to advanced technical concepts and guide implementation in final products.
