Job summary

Blue Ops, a subsidiary of Red Cat Holdings, seeks a production supervisor for a special projects team to oversee daily electromechanical assembly operations for unmanned surface vessels in Valdosta, GA. You will lead assemblers and technicians, ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery.

You will drive continuous improvement with Lean methods, mentor staff, and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to meet production goals and introduce new products.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of electromechanical assembly experience in boat/building or similar environments.
• Prototype new designs and implement manufacturing changes with engineering coordination.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and build documentation.
• Excellent communication, coaching, and problem‑solving skills.
• Thrives in a fast‑paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate assembly technicians in a low-mix, low-to-medium volume environment.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign work to meet production schedules and delivery commitments.
• Monitor workflow, resolve bottlenecks, and adjust resources as needed.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Provide hands‑on support for assembly of vessel components and subassemblies.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate to engineering when needed.
• Train and mentor associates on assembly skills and Lean methods.
