Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of electromechanical assembly, boat building, or similar environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced production setting.
• Experience coordinating prototypes with engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assembly technicians in a low-mix, low-to-medium volume electromechanical environment.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign work to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
• Monitor workflow, resolve bottlenecks, and adjust resources as needed.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Provide hands-on support for assembly of vessel components and subassemblies.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical assembly issues; escalate when needed.
• Partner with Quality to address defects and implement corrective actions.
• Train and mentor associates on electromechanical assembly and Lean methods.
