Job summary

Aerotek in Houston, TX is seeking an Electromechanical Assembler III to join a team that designs and manufactures advanced electrical power solutions, focusing on switchboards and switchgear.

You will assemble, mount, and wire heavy components, read schematics, and work in a safety‑driven, production environment with available overtime.

The role is contract-to-hire, onsite at a large warehouse, with 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. hours and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Electrical assembly experience in switchboards or power distribution equipment.
• Minimum 2 years working on switchboards, switchgear, or heavy power equipment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and work with large components.
• Experience reading schematics and prints to guide wiring and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assemble switchboards, switchgear, and heavy power equipment per specs.
• Mount transformers, busway, breakers, and other components.
• Read schematics and prints to guide wiring and assembly.
• Maintain safe, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team and support continuous improvement.
