Job summary

Trystar Inc in Houston, TX is hiring an Electromechanical Assembler to support high-volume production of portable power distribution boxes. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork across multiple assembly lines in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will read job orders, follow SOPs, use Epicor for paperwork, perform quality checks, and operate hand and power tools. A high school diploma and 2 years of manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect parts produced.
• Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis.
• Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required.
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
• Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection.
• Technical secondary education is preferred.
• Have basic computer skills and accurate data entry experience for receiving and issuing products.

Responsibilities

• Understand the job orders and interact with Epicor.
• Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the SOPs to operate the equipment and manufacture the product.
• Enter paperwork into Epicor and maintain daily production reports, tally sheets, scrap reports.
• Maintain and operate hand tools and power tools.
• Perform quality control checks to assure product meets specifications.
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
